Angel Reese resurfaces Brianna Turner’s tweet, conveying sentiments for fans beyond her capacity

Angel Reese may be feeling the effects of the attention that comes with being a WNBA celebrity now that she has started her career as a professional women’s basketball player.

The LSU graduate chose to take her skills to the Windy City after signing a one-year contract. The 21-year-old was the No. 7 pick in the first round of the WNBA Draft, and a rumored move to the Milwaukee Mystics did not happen.

Through her teammate Brianna Turner, Reese has sent a cryptic warning to her admirers regarding her newfound stardom, which seems to have increased even since her time as an LSU football player in college.

In 2021, back then, Turner published the following on X: “Fans shouldn’t be able to hang out in our hotel lobby all morning/ night to wait for us to sign things. Also fans waiting at baggage claim/ check-in at airports that don’t even have flights. Ofc [of course] I appreciate people that support the W, but sometimes I feel like a line is crossed.”

Turner said, retrieving her tweet from the archives and reposting it: “Still relevant years later. I’m not speaking on children, but if it’s adults, especially resellers of trading cards/ pictures/ etc just come to a game instead to get your memorabilia signed.”

It was evident that Reese had the same thought when she quoted-tweeted Turner, endorsing her teammate’s viewpoint with conviction.

“One thing I count on is for Breezy to say the things I want to say that I can’t say WWWWWW TEAMMATE!,” Reese expressed her love for X by writing with a pink heart emoji and a sobbing face.

Reese seems to be at least having a respectable start to her WNBA career on the court, despite the enormous attention she has received from fans.

In 24 minutes of action during their preseason loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Friday, the first-round selection scored 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Teresa Weatherspoon, the Sky’s coach, would not have missed Reese’s performance even if her team lost 92–81 without taking the lead at any point throughout the game.
